We have completed accepting Volunteers for September 1 2009 – April 30 2010, and will begin accepting applications for the 2010 – 2011 season in early 2010.  Volunteers assist with administering our Fish, Wildlife, and Outdoor Recreation Program at Avon Park Air Force Bombing and Gunnery Range in central FL.  Jobs include gate access control, a hunter game processing and check station, general maintenance/grounds keeping, and office/clerical.  Duties are assigned on a rotating basis and couples are assigned contingent shifts as much as possible.   FHU 30/50amp, laundry and free access to recreation for 24 hours per week.  Internet access is available with a personal computer on an as needed basis.  A 4 month minimum stay is requested, but we also have year round accommodations available.  We’ll place the application on this page soon; complete the application and return to the address listed on the application.  You can also phone us at (863) 452-4254 for further information.
